modification consists of a new Brass pin which operates from below the
tender, the original coupling pin can no longer be seen on the tender
footplate, the original spring & washer are utilized with the new
pin, no modification's are required to your original Aster parts. |

The
fall plate has been manufactured from high quality S527 Stainless
Steel. The plate is a direct fit requiring no modifications to the
loco, even the original screws are used to secure to the locomotive
bulkhead, supplied etched and finished in satin black. |
Available Now IN STOCK Aster Duchess Large Bore Water Connector The
new pipe connector is a re-design of the Aster standard connector
which takes the inside diameter to almost twice that of the standard
connector allowing the axle pump to maintain the water level in the
boiler, this is supplied with a matching nut which is a great visual
improvement over the standard Aster thumb wheel. |

CNC turned replacement for the almost impossible to operate (with
tender attached) Aster blowdown valve, made from Aircraft grade S150
Stainless Steel, the screwdriver slot has been removed and the rear
of the spindle has been lengthened to accommodate the "T"
bar which is Silver Soldered in place. |
IN STOCK Aster Duchess Regulator Extension Shaft (Mk2) This
extension shaft allows regulator control with the rear cab roof in
place, cnc turned from Aircraft grade S150 (non magnetic) Stainless
Steel, the shaft fits over the regulator stub & uses the existing
regulator handle, supplied with Allen Key & fitting instructions. |

CNC turned & milled sold Brass (CZ121) double chimney blanking
plug for the Aster LMS/BR Duchess locomotives, this plug is used with
the Aster steam raising blower to block off the second chimney until
steam is raised, complete with 1/8" dia retaining hole. |
Aster Duchess burner height modification This
modification removes at least 2mm from the base of the Aster Duchess
standard burner unit, new CNC machined bungs are silver soldered into
the height adjusted wick pots, the burner is then grit blasted, etched
and spray painted semi-matt black (satin) £20
