Lead Planner
Robert spent the first 10 years of his engineering career as a CNC machine operator in the aerospace sector before gaining four years’ experience working as an estimator. He joined RHH Franks in 2020 as a Lead Planner and Estimator and is responsible for managing requests for quotes, and answering customer enquiries to support the client expectations.
In constant liaison with the factory floor and material suppliers, Robert plans and estimates jobs and projects based on capacity, always looking at mutually beneficial solutions and taking into account potential issues, complex drawing specifications and outsourcing capabilities.
Handling all preliminaries and investigation, Robert ensures no job is scheduled without accurate specifications, the right machinery and deliverable lead times, allowing for testing, inspection and complete component conformance.
